Kool G Rap -vs- Kane
It would seem that they never battled, But real truth. I DONT BUY THAT BS!
they met in the studio when they did "symphony", One was from Queens, the other from Brooklyn! Thats hood rivalry right there. And they were prolly cool with each other till they got in the booth! BOOM, yall can listen for the subliminal disses your self!
We all was judging back in the day.. real truth..

Marly Marlys "Symphony" tells another story.
"DON'T COMPARE ME TA HIM WHEN YOU HEAR ME"
Kool G Rap
it sounds like Kane started his retaliation after he said "you got the groove"
then he went in
'Freeze stand still, nobody me, it's a sabotage"
and then
"Your nothin but a Midget, a small Digit, You aint wit it, forget it, quit it"
Big Daddy Kane
Record sales: Kane.. done…
Most competitive era in Hip Hop: They both cut they teeth, in the hardest Era of all time.
Lyrical Skills: hmmmmmm TIE! (fight me)
Battle Skills: Would say, Kool G Rap would seem to have the edge raw verses, but have to say KANE's delvery and confidence would take over. KANE
Best PR: Sound funny but have to say. Kane for a while, but[ ahhhh, who cares..
Best Show: kane danced with 2 dancers, i dont know if that helps him or hurts him…lol
Cross over appeal: KANE KANE KANE, RAW, warm it up, and his Album covers covered that.
Metaphors: It would seem KANE, but gonna give his to Kool G. he didn't sound like he used a rhyme dictionary. (no diss, that was the style back then)
Most memorable verse (memorable by Real Rap Fans, not Dolly Dinkles):
Let it roll, get bold, I just can't hold
Back, or fold cos I'm a man with soul
In control and effect, so what the heck
Rock the discotheque and this groove is what's next
KANE!
Best Rap cadence: I will get hate for this, but the KOOL G Lisp is one of a kind, and classic. It effected his delivery, made him sound like SYLVESTER sometimes. But dammit, it was gangsta! KOOL G wit da LISSSSTHP
Stands the test of Time: Not fare to say, Kool G Rap will forever be mentioned as the inspiration for many great rappers. And Kane's popularity, might have hurt him more than help him. He went slightly commercial at one time, did a photo shoot for Madona =(. But will have to say KANE will always have a place in the clubs, when people want to play tracks to get dancers hype. and do the 80's party dances. kane would be remembered not just for lyrics, but for party bangers. KANE got this.
Best Album Covers: KOOL G RAP GOT THIS ONE, Classic, DJ MC Hip Hop Cover. If a young rapper/trap kid, looking for an old school record for inspiration, or to sample from came across these 2 covers, what would they choose? they might think Kane was a R&B singer and put this cover in dads record pile.
